As a Curtain Raiser to the Bihar Museum Biennale 2023, Bihar Museum is thrilled to announce a photography exhibition titled Nature Strikes Back from June 22nd to July 21st by Ambassador of France to India, Emmanuel Lenain, also a prized photographer. The central character of this exhibition is to explore the nature and its delicate relationship with human existence. It features a series of evocative black and white photographs from 18 vibrant cities across India. From the sacred city of Varanasi to the remnants of colonial history in Kolkata, and the maritime charm of Kochi, Lenain’s photographs encapsulate the powerful clash between man and nature and the nature resilience and ability to thrive even in the most unexpected places.
