Glimpses from the celebrations of International Women’s Day. On this occasion, the Bihar Museum, in collaboration with Manila Jagran and Bal Kalyan Sansthan, organised an exhibition of contemporary women artists from Bihar. Alongside this, an exhibition showcasing beads from the museum collection was also organised at the Patna Museum.

On 8 March, the Ceremonial Commencement of work of the underground tunnel connecting the Bihar Museum and the Patna Museum was performed by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Ministers of Bihar, Shri Samrat Choudhary and Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha, as Chief Guests. The Hon’ble Minister of Art, Culture and Youth Department, Shri Arun Shankar Prasad, attended the occasion as the Special Guest.
